There are plenty of ways to surprise or shock your friends. One of such is posting funny status messages on either yours or your friend’s Facebook profile. We’ve earlier explained how to post empty status message on Facebook? and now we’re going to show you how to add funny ‘via text’ to Facebook status message.
For example, whenever you post a status message on your Facebook, it appears as it is posted either via web or via Nokia etc… You can actually customize the ‘via text’ to something funny using ‘Status Via’ chrome extension.
- Simply, install Status Via extension on your Google Chrome browser.
- Once installed, you’ll see an icon appeared on the chrome menu toolbar at the top right.
- Click the icon to view pop up box with Status via options.
- Change the text to whatever you like. You can choose from different existing funny via messages by clicking on the drop-down box.
- Once you select the “via text” you desire, click on “update your status” or “post to friend’s wall” options.
- In the pop-up box, enter the status message and click share button. (Note: You’ll need to login to Facebook before the message gets posted)
